AdiGaskell.org Finance: Credit Card Reviews
Overview
AdiGaskell.org have cast their expert eyes over the numerous credit card providers out there. We have reviewed practically every credit card on the UK market today. The five credit cards below are the finalists of our extensive review. Each credit card company is reviewed based on price, service and ease of use, with a rating given for each category out of a maximum of five. Without further ado I present to you the finalists in the AdiGaskell.org credit card review in ascending order.
The Marbles credit card was one of the first Internet only credit cards in the UK. Their standard APR is 14.9% although they provide an introductory offer of just 1.9% for the first six months. There is no annual fee providing you use your card in the first six months. Registration is painless enough and the customer service is also first class.

American Express are one of the biggest names in the credit card industry. The Amex Blue card is undoubtably one of the finest on the credit card market today. The card offers refund protection, 1% cash back and a range of other cool features. The important thing for any credit card however is the interest rates charged. The Amex Blue card offers reasonable rates when compared to the other so called big name cards. However if you shop around then other providers, such as Accucard, will do you a better deal. Overall a good product although you do feel that with the size of Amex, they could do better.

Accucard bely their unheralded status to produce a superb credit card. They are unique in that they allow you full design of your credit card. They also offer a cash back of 0.8%, which is one of the best in the industry. When you sign up you can set the interest rate, annual charge and cash back using a simple slider system. If your situation changes then you can alter these values up to three times per year. The interest rates are competitive (6.9% APR on balance transfers for the first 6 months, 10.5% APR normally, 14% APR on purchases) and this is overall a very good product.

EasyMoney.com is part of the Easy Group owned by the eccentric (or just plain ridiculous depending on your point of view) Stelios. The site operates using the slider bar system used by several credit card sites allowing you to fully customise the features that your card will offer you. This isn't the only thing that is remarkably similar to other credit cards, which isn't suprising considering it is run in conjunction with Accucard. If you love Stelios then plump for the EasyMoney card, if not then shop around for a better deal.

Capital One
Capital One specialise in providing credit to those who otherwise would not be looked at twice by credit card companies. The consequence of taking on 'credit risks' is that the APR is higher than the other major credit cards and the annual fee is higher as well. In addition their credit levels begin quite low and build as you build trustworthyness. Overall a good alternative if no other company will give you a go.
