Comet

The online store of the electrical superstore is an enjoyable experience. The site is easy to find your way round, with good functionality and minimal fuss. The site offers you the option of choosing your preferred delivery time and day. To make things better they actually keep their promise and deliver your product when you ask them to. The price is also one of the best around, compared to both the high street and online. Super site and well worth a look.

Amazon

The electronics arm of the e-commerce giant is an extension of the superb service offered by the more well known books and music divisions. The site layout will be familiar to anyone who has used Amazon before and for those that havn't the learning curve is very easy indeed. The range of products is very large, with both breadth and depth of goods on offer. The price is at a discount to the high street and customer service is first class.

Curry's

Currys is the UKs biggest electrical retailer offering a huge range of products online, backed by the quality and service guarantees expected from one of the UKs leading brands. Prices are ok but its in the customer service that makes Currys stand out. The 24 hour helpline is superb and they deliver 7 days of the week, providing installation if required.

Co-Op Electrical Shop

CoOp Electrical is an electrical website run by the Co-Op organisation. The prices found in the site are amongst the best on the web, especially with some of the sales they regularly run. Unfortunately not all items are in stock alot of the time. If you do find something you want that is available then it will be delivered within 7 days, although delivery isn't free. Overall if you can find what you are after there are great bargains to be found.

Dixons

The Dixons website offers a wide range of electrical products. One might argue that the best reason to use the Dixons website as opposed to their stores is to avoid their sales staff. By comparison the site is easy to use, with good pictures and descriptions of most products. Price wise it isn't the cheapest and delivery is something you have to pay for, although it has to be said deliveries are nearly always on time and in good condition.
