B&Q - Everyday Low Prices. Shop online at www.diy.com
The UK's biggest DIY store has a huge array of products in its online store. The site navigation could be easier, especially if you are a DIY novice. Dotted around the site are useful hints and tips to help the budding DIY'er, which is a nice feature. The checkout procedure is simple to use. Beware of the delivery charges however. For small items the charge is reasonable but as the product grows in size so does the delivery charge. If you buy in bulk however you only get charged delivery for your largest item so that is definately the way to go. Overall a relatively satisfying experience.

MFI
MFI are one of the biggest furniture retailers in Britain. Their online store has a wealth of products and collections to reflect the size of MFI. The prices are reasonably cheaper than the offline store. The problem comes with the delivery procedure. You cannot arrange delivery until you recieve a hard copy of the order through the post, which then directs you to a automated phone line, which after entering your details gives you the delivery date.
