AdiGaskell.org: Video and DVD Shop Reviews.
CD Wow has emerged as a serious contender to Amazon in the online retailing of entertainment media. They began as an e-commerce company selling cd's at extremely cheap prices and have since expanded into movies. Their range of titles has expanded significantly recently and although many DVD's are imported from the US this shouldn't cause too great an inconvenience as many DVD players are now equipped for this eventuality. Their prices are extremely cheap with the site setting a ceiling of £14.99 on all titles, with the majority at reductions to this. This site is definately worth a comparison with Amazon.

One of Amazon's foremost excursions from online book seller to global retailing giant was into the field of movie retailing. In typical fashion it adapted to this industry superbly and is now one of the best places to shop for videos and DVD's. Their range is massive with practically every film you can think of available. Their prices aren't the cheapest on the web but the ease of use and wonderful customer service make this site your first port of call when shopping for movies.

101CD.com is a entertainment retailer with a vast range of VHS and DVD titles. The site is well designed and there is a clear display of the sites latest offers, of which there are plenty, making this site one of the best around for price. Unfortunately the delivery time of the site lags behind market leaders such as Amazon and CD-Wow, which is a shame because in all other regards the site is superb.

MVC are the entertainment chain owned by the Kingfisher group. They sell a vast range of music, films, games and books. The site is nicely layed out with an easy navigation scheme allowing you to search through their catalogue of products easily and swiftly. The prices are ok but not the best available online, whilst delivery times are good. If you want to do a bit of comparison shopping then this place is well worth a visit.
