The five holiday providers below are the finalists of our extensive review. Each holiday company is reviewed based on price, service and ease of use, with a rating given for each category out of a maximum of five. Expedia are the online travel arm of IT giant Microsoft. Such a background almost demands that this site is first class and it doesn't disappoint. You can plan your travel online, buy air tickets, make hotel and car reservations and book last minute package deals. The site also includes in depth destination guides and maps, a comprehensive travel information service with a free online newsletter, and thousands of useful links to relevant websites. The prices are unreal and the service outstanding. If you go anywhere online for your holidays then make Expedia that place. Price     | Usability     | Service      Opodo is the online travel service provided by some of the biggest names in European travel (British Airways, Lufthansa, KLM, and Aer Lingus amongst others). The backing of these carriers enables Opodo to offer cut price flights via the overcapacity of each airline. The site is easy to use. Buying your tickets is very easy and you are instantly emailed your e-ticket so that you can still fly should your tickets be lost en-route to you, although they frequently are punctual. The website also allows you to book things such as on-flight food, which makes this service a great place to look for cheap flights. Price     | Usability     | Service      LastMinute.com is arguably the most famous of Britains dot-com companies. The sites main business is in selling last minute holidays, although they have branched out into all manner of other activities. The site is nicely designed and as such is easy to navigate. The prices offered are superb, with a large range of holidays available, and you can pick your tickets up from the airport. If you are un-decided then a search facility is provided to give you a holiday based on your budget, date and destination. All in all this site is well worth a visit. Price     | Usability     | Service     Priceline.com are an innovative travel website that allow you to bid for your holiday based on what you think its worth. You can then haggle with the site to get some unbelievable deals on flights, hotels and holidays. There is a certain art to working the system to get the best prices which is done through experience. If you can work it well though some of the deals are magnificent. Not for the faint hearted. Price     | Usability    | Service     eBookers.com are a recent entrant to the hugely popular online travel market. The website is very easy to use and the prices available are amongst the cheapest to be found anywhere on the web. The site contains a very handy time/price matrix tool allowing you to compare prices and departure times for all airlines flying to a particular destination. Once your tickets are ordered they are sent to you, which differs from other merchants who allow you to pick up your ticket at the airport. All in all a good offering. Price    | Usability     | Service     The Lunn Poly website is the online offering of the popular high street travel agents. As such the site has a vast range of holidays on offer to you. For each one you can browse the database of information about each destination, including travel guides and weather reports. Prices are at a slight reduction to the high street and you can pick your tickets up in any Lunn Poly shop. Price    | Usability    | Service     |
