It was reported last week that a growing number of youngsters are concerned about what they post online.  They fear that what they put on Facebook, Twitter et al could be hurting their personal brand.

Such fears are understandable.  After all, everything you post online is stored, with much of it publically searchable.  The savvy amongst you however will look to turn such a situation to your advantage, posting up things that paint you in a positive light.

  1. This is especially so as Google can now read Facebook comments posted on other sites. You really have to be aware of what is online about you.

  2. This is a massive issue. Soooo many people still have absolutely no idea, much less any control over what appears when someone Google's their name. The scary thing is so many of them don't even seem to care, they're still stuck in their old school ways.
