The blog

A blog for my thoughts has been a long time coming, largely because I often contemplated whether I had enough thoughts of note to merit sharing with the wider world.  Alas those fears and doubts still largely reside in my head but I thought it best to put those aside and venture forth into the blogging world with my best thoughts forward.

WIth courage mustered, the logical next step would be to decide what exactly to talk about, whether to use the blog for my more inane ramblings or to provide my professional and academic views on various bits and pieces.  I suppose the merit of any of the blogs I have personally read on a regular basis is that they are largely entertaining.  So on that note I’ll endeavour to blog about things of interest to me and let the chips fall where they may.

That’s pretty much it I guess.  I don’t know how many people will eventually read this blog (it somehow seems a bit egotistical to promote my thoughts to any great extent), but if you do somehow stumble upon the site your views will be appreciated.
